FISH POND FILTRATION SYSTEM USING BIO-TANK SYSTEM

PENAPISAN KOLAM IKAN MENGUNAKAN TANGKI BIO

This system is recommended for house with big area as bio tank size should be at least 30% of the fish pond.
The bacteria will breakdown the impurities and fish excretion. The particles in the water will  be attracted by the roots of the water hyacinth and absorb the nitrate. Those particles not attracted by the roots will be filtered by the sand filter. Ultra-violet (UV) light or filter not suitable to be added to this system as it will kill all the suspended bacteria in the water and water hyacinth depend on suspended bacteria to breakdown the nutrient. This natural form of ecology filter is the best to imitate nature but the water will not be crystal clear but very conducive for fish.

Penapis jenis ini sesuai untuk rumah berkawasan besar oleh kerana tangki bio sepatutnya paling kurang seluas 30% dari kawasan kolam ikan. kotoran didalam air akan ditarik oleh akar pokok kiambang dan 'nitrate' dari tahi ikan akan disedut oleh akarnya. Kotoran yang tidak di hisap oleh akar pokok kiambang akan ditapis oleh 'sand filter'. Lampu atau penapis ' Ultra-violet' tidak sesuai dengan sistem jenios ini oleh kerana ianya membunuh balteria terapung dan bakteria ini diperlukan oleh pokok kiambang untuk menguraikan tahi ikan. Air kolam mengunakan penapis jenis ini tidak lah sejernis sistem lampu UV, tetapi oleh kerana ianya sistem yang ekologi dan meniru alam sekita semulajadi, ianya lebih sesuai untuk ikan anda.
